Gamme
Récemment rénové, le Duster deuxième génération repose sur une gamme comprenant deux motorisations essence, une bi-carburation essence/GPL et une motorisation diesel. En essence on retrouve le 1.3 turbo (quatre cylindres), de 130 ou 150 ch, cette deuxième version s'offrant obligatoirement avec une boîte automatique. EDC à six vitesses. Ces deux motorisations ne sont disponibles que dans les versions Confort et Prestige. La très intéressante version bicarburation essence/GPL repose sur le bloc 1.0 TCe, qui développe 100 ch en mode GPL (90 ch en mode sans plomb). Ce trois cylindres peut être associé aux quatre finitions disponibles au catalogue, dont le pare-chocs Prestige+. Enfin, Dacia n'abandonne pas le diesel.
Les grands pilotes pourront opter pour le 1.5 Blue dCi de 115 ch. C'est aussi le seul moteur qui peut être combiné avec quatre roues motrices. Côté prix, aucune remise n'est prévue pour l'instant.

1.3 TCe 130
Doux, agréable, silencieux et plutôt franc au-delà de 2000 tr/min, le 1.3 TCe 130 est un excellent compromis. Pourtant, à l'achat, c'est quand même 2 000 € de plus que le très bon marché 1.0 Eco-G 100 !
Sans oublier la pénalité de 230 € dont hérite ce bloc. C'est surprenant car, selon nos mesures, il modère la consommation : à peine 6,9 l/100 km en moyenne.
1,5 dCi 115 4×2
Outre une sonorité encore un peu excessive dans l'habitacle et une sensation d'étouffement à haut régime, ce 1.5 Blue dCi 115 ravit par sa disponibilité à bas régime.
Ainsi, même à 50 km/h, il est possible de passer en 4ème voire 5ème vitesse sans aucune difficulté.
Cela signifie la flexibilité de ce bloc. L'autre atout renvoie à sa faible consommation (5,3 l/100 km) et sa belle autonomie de 943 km.
1.0 Eco-G 100
Avec le GPL, le 1.0 TCe consomme en moyenne 40 % de plus que le SP95. Mais ce gaz ne coûte que 0,85€/l, le coût aux 100km tombe à 8,33€, contre 11,13€ pour le sans plomb. De plus, le GPL délivre 10 ch et 10 Nm de plus pour le petit TCe. Douce et déjà aidée par sa boîte à six rapports, elle se montre un peu plus performante. Les deux chars offrent une autonomie record.
1.0 Eco-G 100
Avec le GPL, le 1.0 TCe consomme en moyenne 40 % de plus que le SP95. Mais ce gaz ne coûte que 0,85€/l, le coût aux 100km tombe à 8,33€, contre 11,13€ pour le sans plomb. 1.3 TCe 150 EDC
Avec ce moteur, Duster ravira particulièrement les amateurs de transmission automatique. En effet, opter pour le puissant 1.3 TCe 150 nécessite la convaincante transmission EDC à double embrayage à six rapports. Si ce dernier est parfois peu réactif, l'ensemble carter moteur est très agréable et souple. Revers de la médaille, le prix minimum de cette version dépasse les 21 000 €...
1,5 dCi 115 4×4
Équipé d'une transmission intégrale et d'une boîte de vitesses extrêmement courte, ce Duster s'adresse avant tout à ceux qui ont l'habitude de travailler dans des conditions difficiles. Profitant du puissant 1.5 Blue dCi 115, cette version impose un surcoût non négligeable de 2 300 €, tandis que le poids supplémentaire de 100 kg augmente la consommation. Cela dit, ce dernier a toujours du sens.
E. MONTGOBERTO
Le 1.0 Eco-G 100 impressionne par son coût d'utilisation attractif, mais aussi par sa douceur de roulement. Au quotidien, ce trois cylindres est suffisant.
N. SOLER
1.3 TCe 150 EDC
Si doux, puissant et très esthétique, le 1.3 TCe 150 associé à la boîte de vitesses EDC confère au Duster une polyvalence sans précédent.
A. SAUNIER
1,5 dCi 115 4×4
Grâce à la transmission 4x4 et au faible rapport de démultiplication, ce Duster est particulièrement confortable pour la conduite tout-terrain.

LES ÉTOILES
DACIA
L'Essential, qui propose désormais un niveau d'entrée, dispose d'un badge couleur carrosserie et d'une radio. Cependant, la climatisation est facultative.
La finition Confort profite de quelques touches esthétiques, comme les jantes alliage 16" et les poignées de porte extérieures dans sa carrosserie.
Basique
Cette finition de départ offre l'essentiel. Il est vrai que vous aurez droit à une radio DAB avec commandes au volant, mais il vous faudra tout de même ouvrir votre portefeuille pour l'indispensable climatisation manuelle (+900€). Vue de côté, les boucliers sont de la même couleur que la carrosserie, mais les roues sont en acier.
Confort
La version Comfort a un surcoût assez conséquent de 2 360 € par rapport à l'Essential, mais le présent monte vraiment d'un cran. Ce Duster bénéficie donc de vitres arrière électriques, de la climatisation, d'un nouvel écran tactile de 8 pouces, de radars de recul et d'un régulateur/limiteur de vitesse.
A noter également la présence de jantes alliage 16''.
Prestige
Reconnaissable à ses jantes en alliage de 17 pouces, à la présence de protections avant et arrière gris argent et de vitres arrière teintées, l'édition Prestige distingue vraiment le Duster. Et le surcoût de 1 250 € est compensé par l'enrichissement patrimonial. Parmi les équipements, il convient de mentionner l'arrivée de la climatisation, du GPS et même d'une caméra de recul.

Pour 300 € ou 500 € de plus que la Prestige, cette nouvelle finition Prestige+ est également équipée de la fameuse carte mains libres et des caméras multivues (avant, arrière et latérales).
L'équipement est généralement réservé aux véhicules de haute technologie. Mais seuls les moteurs Eco-G et Blue dCi 115 4x2 sont concernés par cette finition.

LES ÉTOILES
Transmission 4×4
Seule la version diesel Blue dCi 115 peut disposer des quatre roues motrices (+2 300 €). Située au centre de la console, la molette permet de passer facilement de deux roues motrices à quatre roues motrices.

Disponibles sur la Prestige (300 €) et de série sur la Prestige+, quatre caméras grand angle bien placées facilitent la visibilité lors des manœuvres.
cartes sans mains
En option sur la Prestige et de série sur la Prestige+, la carte permet d'accéder au véhicule et de le démarrer sans avoir à tourner la clé.

Les finitions Prestige et Prestige +, qui bénéficient également de la même présentation (sellerie spécifique et contreportes en similicuir capitonné), séduisent autant par leur style que par l'aspect robuste des matériaux. De plus, le nouvel écran tactile de 8 pouces et les nombreuses commodités modernes qui sont de série sur la version Prestige+ améliorent vraiment le Duster. A noter que le compteur GPL est désormais intégré aux jauges.
Pour moins de 18 500 €, cette version du Duster offre tout :Sa finition Prestige+ inédite dispose d'un équipement très complet (carte mains-libres, caméra multivue, GPS, etc.), tout en soignant son apparence. Et tout cela pour seulement 300 € de plus que la version Prestige. Une petite mise de fonds qui rapporte vraiment.
Côté mécanique, grâce à son moteur bi-carburant essence/GPL, ce Duster est économe et polyvalent, le 1.0 TCe faisant preuve de convivialité et de bonne volonté. En effet, ses performances sont suffisantes pour faire face aux diverses contraintes du quotidien sans encombre.

A l'arrière, les grands ont beaucoup d'espace pour les jambes.
Par contre, le trottoir est un peu étroit pour voyager à trois.

Le réservoir de carburant de 50 litres situé sous le plancher n'empiète pas sur le volume du coffre. Assez bien distribué, ce dernier est suffisamment large pour des promenades de vacances.
