Standard Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist and Curve Detection uses sensors and a camera to scan the road for potential hazards and can even help automatically apply the brakes when the system detects a potential obstacle in your path. . In addition, the standard intersection assist assists in detecting oncoming vehicles when making a left turn at an intersection.1
